Merryn Tinkler MBA brings more than twenty years experience in the Australian arts industry from production management; general management; producing of independent artists and their work; presentation of large scale installations and an extensive knowledge of performing arts touring.
She has a high degree of knowledge and awareness of Australia’s diverse performing, visual and digital arts markets including theatre, dance, physical theatre, contemporary circus, puppetry, festivals, gallery management and community engagement.
Merryn offers services for a wide range of arts and corporate organisations including programming, strategic planning, creative management structures and delivery of projects and programs, as well as training for diverse local communities in the delivery of exemplary community arts events.

Current Projects include:

ChillOut Festival - In is twentieth year. The ChillOut Festival in Daylesford, Victoria, is one of the biggest and longest-running Country Queer Pride events in regional Australia. Merryn is Festival Director for the festival beginning in 2016.

Peninsula Summer Music Festival - In its tenth year, this festival celebrates the unique places on the Mornington Peninsula, south of Melbourne. After 2 years as Production Manager, Merryn took over the General Manager role for the 2015 festival. The festival runs for 12 days at the beginning of January each year.

Melbourne International Jazz Festival - The Melbourne International Jazz Festival is an annual, high profile, world-class jazz festival. Merryn is engaged as Production Manager for the Festival. The 2016 festival included over 120 events over 10 days in venues across Melbourne: Hamer Hall; Federation Square; Melbourne Recital Hall; Malthouse; The Forum amongst others.

The award winning Monash Art Ensemble is a partnership between Monash University Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Australian Art Orchestra. Funded by the Vizard Foundation, the ensemble works with international musicians in performances and CD releases. Merryn provided ongoing management services for the ensemble for the initial 3 years.

Funded by Metro Trains and the Victorian Office of Multicultural Affairs - Imaginal House project managed a pilot event: The Multicultural Express in November 2013. The 2014 project was a resounding success over 4 weeks of programmed roving minstrels on Metro Trains on the Frankston line in Melbourne. Additionally delivered in 2015 - 2017.
